"Campsite Del Garda is a large campsite, situated directly at the Garda lake. It’s just a little walk to a sandy beach, where you can enjoy the glittering sun and sea. You have a beautiful view from the beach to the little villages around this part of the Garda lake. It is also possible to have a jump into the swimming pool. The great swimming pool with a special paddling pool also offers a waterslide."

For the first time all travel arrangements were made by me via the internet. I've gone off travel companies-they overcharge too much.
Flights from Stansted to Bergamo with Ryanair(no complaints-got us there and back on schedule-even pilot put the foot down due to delayed take off slot so as to arrive on time).
Car hire from Hertz-we got a Nissan Micra with air con(the kids are only small so no point in getting a larger car) for the 2 weeks at a reasonable price.
Contacted Camping Del Garda direct and saved about 1/3 on the price of a mobile home-thanks to Gabriela and her wonderful English-much better than my Italian. A small deposit secured the home and then they took Visa on the day of departure.
We mainly visited the southern end of Lake Garda-Peschiera,Lasize,Sirmione ,Verona
and took time out to go to Venice,and Mantova.
The kids loved Gardaland and we went for 1 full day and also(and I recommend this) for an evening ticket later in the holiday. Also took in a Safari park at Bussolengo and a waterpark at Altomincio.
Weather-bloody hot-42deg some days.Mid 20's at night(should have taken the air con offered with the mobile home-but I'm a tight get according to Lorraine)
All in all a cracking holiday....

» Cancellation terms: in the case of cancellation of the booking, Camping Del Garda shall charge a penalty to the client calculated as a percentage of the amount due for the period booked, in relation to the notification of cancellation given: 0% of the total amount of the vacation for cancellations made 60 to 20 days before the foreseen arrival date; 0% of the total price of the vacation for cancellations made 19 to 4 days before the foreseen arrival date; 100% of the total price of the vacation for cancellations made 3 days or less before the foreseen arrival date, with a minimum vacation of 1 night. All paid deposits shall be used as partial or full payment of the above indicated penalties.
